DAVID L. JESCH, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Mark V. Holmes Judge.

This case was on the January 30, 2023 Los Angeles, California trial calendar. We continued it because the case was with respondent's Independent Office of Appeals for consideration. Respondent recently reported that he believes that this case is susceptible to settlement, but that more time is needed for the parties to exchange information. Returning the case to the general docket would probably delay settlement, but as long as the case is moving to settlement it can stay on a status-report track. It is therefore

ORDERED that on or before May 15, 2023 the parties shall submit settlement documents or respondent shall file a status report to describe any progress.
