ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

This case was called and recalled from the remote calendar for the Trial Session of the Court at Los Angeles, California on January 8, 2024. On December 15, 2023, respondent filed a Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Prosecution. The Court ordered petitioners to file any objection on or before January 2, 2024. No response has been received from petitioners. On December 21, 2024, respondent filed a First Supplement to Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Prosecution. When this case was called from the calendar on January 8, 2024, petitioners and counsel for respondent appeared and were heard on the motion to dismiss.
Upon due consideration and for cause more fully appearing in the transcript of the proceeding, it is
ORDERED that, on or before February 7, 2024, petitioners shall show cause, in writing, why respondent's Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Prosecution, filed December 15, 2023, as supplemented, should not be granted. It is further
ORDERED that this case is continued to the Trial Session of the Court commencing on April 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in Room 1167, Edward R. Roybal Center & Federal Building, 255 E. Temple Street, Los Angeles, California 90012. It is further
ORDERED that the Court's Standing Pretrial Order, dated August 24, 2023, remains in full force and effect. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before February 22, 2024, the parties shall file a status report as to the then-present status of this case. It is further
ORDERED that jurisdiction of this case is retained by the undersigned.
