Opinion

No. 2D14–501.

James JACKSON, Appellant/Petitioner(s), v. STATE of Florida, Appellee/Respondent(s).

Opinion

BY ORDER OF THE COURT.

This appeal is dismissed as untimely filed.

The appellant's petition for belated appeal is treated as a motion for belated appeal. The motion is denied without prejudice to counsel to seek a belated appeal via a habeas petition filed in the trial court. See In re Commitment of May, 975 So.2d 579, 580 (Fla. 2d DCA 2008).
