WADE P. JACKSON v. LOUISIANA SECRETARY OF STATE


In Re: Wade P. Jackson, applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 572846.

BEFORE: PETTIGREW, MCDONALD, AND McCLENDON, JJ.

WRIT GRANTED IN PART AND DENIED IN PART. The writ is granted for the limited purpose of instructing the district judge (1) to provide relator with notice of the district court's December 3, 2012 order granting relator pauper status and (2) to rule on relator's July 30, 2012 "Motion with Order for Summons & Process of Service," if it has not already done so. In all other respects, the writ application is denied. Relator has not provided this Court with documentation of any motions currently pending in this lawsuit. Moreover, according to the commissioner's office, the commissioner is currently preparing a recommendation report for the district judge in this matter.
