KEVIN J. JACKSON, ET AL Petitioners v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

KATHLEEN KERRIGAN, CHIEF JUDGE

On September 16, 2022, respondent filed in the case at Docket No. 17565-22 a Motion to Close on Ground of Duplication. Respondent asserts in his motion that Docket No. 17565-22 is a duplicate of petitioner's case at Docket No. 17165-22L as, in both cases, petitioner seeks review of a notice of determination concerning collection action, dated July 7, 2022, issued for petitioner's 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 tax years. Respondent states in his motion that petitioner does not object to the granting of his motion. Upon review of the records in the two just-described cases, respondent's motion appears well-supported.

In view of the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that respondent's Motion to Close on Ground of Duplication filed at Docket No. 17565-22 is granted and that case is closed on the ground of duplication. All future communications concerning the above-referenced notice of determination concerning collection action shall be directed to Docket No. 17165-22L. It is further

ORDERED that the filing fee paid at Docket No. 17565-22 shall be applied to petitioner's case at Docket No. 17165-22L.
