Appeals having been taken by respondent-appellant Reggie U. from orders of the Family Court, New York County, entered on or about July 16, 2014, November 19, 2014, June 15, 2015, and December 18, 2015, respectively, And, orders of this Court of this Court having been entered on October 16, 2016 (M-3772) and March 17, 2016 (M-390) granting respondent-appellant leave to prosecute the appeals as a poor person, and assigning Randall Carmel, Esq. as counsel for purposes of prosecuting the appeals, And, assigned counsel, Randall Carmel, Esq., having moved for an order relieving him as appellant's counsel, and to grant permission for respondent-appellant Reggie U. to file a pro se appellant's brief, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, It is ordered that the motion is granted only to the extent of permitting Randall Carmel, Esq., to withdraw as counsel. The motion is otherwise denied without prejudice to application by respondent-appellant directly.
