NICOLE RENEA IRWIN, Appellant v. MEGAN PROPERTIES MANAGEMENT, INC., Appellee
On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 2 Montgomery County, Texas
Trial Cause No. 19-31708
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant's notice of appeal was filed on March 12, 2020. The court reporter responsible for preparing the record informed the Court that appellant failed to arrange to pay for the expense to obtain a written transcript of the proceedings in this cause. See Tex. R. App. P. 35.3. On April 20, 2020, we notified the parties that we could dismiss the appeal unless the appellant paid the required filing fee and paid the fee to prepare a written transcript of the proceedings that would be needed to resolve the appeal. Appellant failed to respond to our notices.
Notices sent to appellant's last known mailing address were returned as undeliverable.
Additionally, the appellant has not filed an affidavit of indigence and has not shown the Rules allow her to proceed without paying these costs. See Tex. R. App. P. 20.1. In the absence of a satisfactory explanation for the appellant's failure to pay the filing fee and the fee for the reporter's record in the appeal, we dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3.
APPEAL DISMISSED.
