Yiannakis C. Ioannides Petitioner v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Respondent

ORDER

Albert G. Lauber Judge

This case was originally calendared on the Court's April 11, 2022, New York, New York, trial session. On March 3, 2022, respondent filed a status report representing that petitioner had recently died. By Order served March 9, 2022, we continued this case from the Court's April 11, 2022, trial session and ordered respondent to file a status report by May 6, 2022, informing the Court whether an executor has been appointed to represent petitioner's estate. On March 10, 2022, the Court received a Motion for Continuance from petitioner's wife. We will deny this Motion as moot because we have already continued the case. Petitioner's wife is reminded that she need not appear at the trial session on April 11, 2022.

In consideration of the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that the Motion for Continuance, filed March 10, 2022, is denied as moot. It is further

ORDERED that the status report due on May 6, 2022, shall be filed by the parties jointly if possible.
