On Appeal from the 58th District Court Jefferson County, Texas Trial Cause No. A210075.
Before Golemon, C.J., Johnson and Chambers, JJ.
ORDER
PER CURIAM
Appellants Infrastructure Associates, Inc., AtkinsRealis USA, Inc. f/k/a Atkins North America, Inc., and H. W. Lochner, Inc. filed an opposed motion to stay all trial court proceedings pending completion of the appeal. On June 25, 2024, the trial court signed an order denying a motion to dismiss the claims of Appellees Trent Fereday, Travis Fereday, and Todd Fereday, Individually and as Personal Representatives of the Estate of Thomas Everett Fereday, Jr., Deceased. See Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code Ann. § 150.002(f). On July 1, 2024, Appellants perfected an accelerated appeal from the trial court's order. See id., see also Tex. R. App. P. 26.1(b).
When an accelerated appeal from an interlocutory order is perfected, we may make such orders as are necessary to preserve the parties' rights until disposition of the appeal. Tex.R.App.P. 29.3. After reviewing the motion and the response, we find that temporary orders are necessary to preserve the parties' rights until disposition of the appeal. It is ORDERED that all proceedings in the trial court are STAYED until our Opinion issues or until further order of this Court. See id. 29.3.
ORDER ENTERED.
