ORDER

This is an appeal from the trial court's interlocutory order granting a temporary injunction. A companion appeal from an interlocutory order denying a motion to compel arbitration is currently pending under appellate cause number 05-20-00867-CV.

Before the Court is the parties' October 19, 2020 joint motion to abate proceedings. The parties explain that the trial court has modified the temporary injunction such that it will render this appeal moot once the arbitrator rules on either party's request for injunctive relief in the arbitration.

We GRANT the motion TO THE EXTENT we SUSPEND the briefing deadline for appellee's brief on the merits and ORDER either (1) a motion to dismiss the appeal or (2) a status report be filed no later than December 21, 2020.
