Consideration, by the Court of Appeals, on its own motion pursuant to N.Y. Constitution, article VI, § 22(e)(g) and Judiciary Law § 44 (8)(a) and (c) of whether Honorable Timothy C. Tamsen should be suspended from his office of Justice of the Newburgh Town Court, Orange County, pending disposition of his request for review of a determination by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.

Chief Judge Kaye and Judges Smith, Levine, Ciparick, Wesley, Rosenblatt and Graffeo concur.


On the Court's own motion, it is determined that Honorable Timothy C. Tamsen is suspended, with pay, effective immediately, from the office of Justice of the Newburgh Town Court, Orange County, pending disposition of his request for review of a determination by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
