Although the clerk's record was filed on March 26, 2018, the records are not due until May 3, 2018, and the court reporter's April 27, 2018 info sheet states that the reporter's record has not yet been filed, but has just been requested and paid for. Accordingly, appellant's premature extension request is denied without prejudice to refiling after the reporter's record has been filed. See TEX. R. APP. P. 38.6(a)(2). If appellant does not need the reporter's record for the brief, appellant must file a docketing statement, which was due by February 27, 2018, stating that no reporter's record will be requested. See id. 32.1(h).
