IN THE MATTER OF MARCEL R. WURMS AN ATTORNEY AT LAW (ATTORNEY NO. 033751982)
ORDER
The Disciplinary Review Board having filed with the Court its decision in DRB 23-179, recommending on the record certified to the Board pursuant to Rule 1:20-4(f) (default by respondent) that Marcel R. Wurms of Lodi, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 1982, should be suspended for three months for violating RPC 1.3 (lacking diligence) (two instances), RPC 1.4(b) (failing to keep a client reasonably informed about the status of a matter and failing to comply with reasonable requests for information) (two instances), RPC 1.4(c) (failing to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions about the representation) (two instances), RPC 1.5(b) (failing to set forth in writing the basis or rate of the legal fee) (three instances), RPC 1.16(d) (failing to protect the client’s interests upon termination of representation and failing to surrender the client’s file) (two instances), and RPC 8.1(b) (failing to cooperate with disciplinary authorities);
And the Court having determined that a censure is the appropriate quantum of discipline;
And good cause appearing;
It is ORDERED that Marcel R. Wurms is hereby censured; and it is further
ORDERED that the entire record of this matter be made a permanent part of respondent’s file as an attorney at law of this State; and it is further
ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Disciplinary Oversight Committee for appropriate administrative costs and actual expenses incurred in the prosecution of this matter, as provided in Rule 1:20-17.
