IN RE: WAL-MART STORES, INC., WAL-MART STORES TEXAS, L.P., WAL-MART ASSOCIATES, INC., AND WAL-MART STORES TEXAS, LLC, Relators.
AN ORIGINAL PROCEEDING IN MANDAMUS ORDER
Relators have filed a mandamus petition seeking relief from orders entered by the Honorable Luis Aguilar, Judge of the 243rd District Court of El Paso County, Texas, in cause number 2014DCV3776 (styled Blanca Calderon v. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., et al.). The orders in question compel Relators to respond to discovery and hold Relators in contempt. Relators have also filed a motion requesting emergency relief from the orders which are the subject of this original proceeding and a stay of all proceedings in cause number 2014DCV3776. After reviewing Relators' motion, the response filed by the Real Party in Interest, and Relators' reply, the Court has determined that the motion is GRANTED. It is therefore ORDERED that the orders entered by Respondent on March 12, 2015, March 26, 2015, April 2, 2015, and April 9, 2015 in cause number 2014DCV3776 are stayed pending resolution of this mandamus proceeding or further order of this Court. It is further ORDERED that all proceedings in cause number 2014DCV3776, including without limitation any proceedings by the special master, are stayed pending resolution of this mandamus proceeding or further order of this Court. The Real Party in Interest's response to the mandamus petition is due to filed no later than May 24, 2015.
IT IS SO ORDERED this 24th day of April, 2015.
