MEMORANDUM OPINION

Relator Leslie Ray Turner, an inmate in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, has filed a pro se petition for writ of mandamus, see Tex. Gov't Code § 22.221; see also Tex. R. App. P. 52.1, asking this Court to compel the Honorable J. Allan Garrett, presiding judge of the 33rd District Court of San Saba County, to "hold a hearing, consider and rule on" a motion entitled Post-Mortin [sic] Discovery Motion for Clerk's Records and Transcripts in which relator seeks a free record for purposes of filing an application for writ of habeas corpus, see Tex. Code Crim. Proc. 11.07. The petition for writ of mandamus is denied. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.8(a).
