No. 04-17-00190-CV

From the 73rd Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2016PA00764
Honorable Charles E. Montemayor, Judge Presiding
ORDER
Appellant's brief was originally due April 27, 2017; however, the court granted an extension until May 17, 2017, to file the brief. Appellant has filed a motion requesting an additional ten days to file the brief.
We grant the motion and order appointed appellate counsel, Shawn Sheffield, to file appellant's brief by May 30, 2017. This is an accelerated appeal of an order in a suit for termination of the parent-child relationship that must be disposed of by this court within 180 days of the date the notice of appeal was filed in the trial court. See TEX. R. JUD. ADMIN. 6.2. Counsel is advised that no further extensions of time will be granted absent a motion that (1) demonstrates extraordinary circumstances justifying further delay, (2) advises the court of the efforts counsel has expended in preparing the brief, and (3) provides the court reasonable assurance that the brief will be completed and filed by the requested extended deadline.
