ORDER
Elizabeth L. Gleicher, Chief Judge, acting under MCR 7.211(E)(2), orders:
The motion to extend time to file appellee's brief on behalf of Duane Lynn Thomas is GRANTED until October 8, 2023. The Clerk of the Court shall remand this matter to the trial court for the appointment of substitute counsel for respondent-appellee Duane Lynn Thomas if the appellee's brief in not filed in accordance with this order. In addition, costs in the amount of $250 will be assessed against appointed counsel for respondent-appellee.
