In re T M Hull Minor

LC No. 16-000081-NA

James Robert Redford Presiding Judge, David H. Sawyer Christopher P. Yates Judges

ORDER

James Robert Redford, Presiding Judge.

The motion to dismiss this appeal for lack of jurisdiction is DENIED. This Court acknowledges, without deciding, that the May 4, 2022 order may not be a final order appealable by right in this child protective proceeding, lower court docket no. 16-000081-NA. MCR 3.993(A). However, in the interest of judicial economy and to facilitate comprehensive review of the overall matter involving T M Hull, we treat the claim of appeal in this case, lower court docket no. 16-000081-NA, as an application for leave to appeal the May 4, 2022 order; and, we grant leave to appeal without restriction as to the issues appellant may raise on appeal related to the May 4, 2022 order. See, e.g., Wardell v Hincka, 297 Mich.App. 127, 133 n 1; 822 N.W.2d 278 (2012). This appeal remains consolidated with Docket No. 361537.
