ORDER
PER CURIAM
On Monday, July 29, 2024, relator Odis Styers, filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus in this court. Relator asks this court to order the Honorable Daniel W. Leedy, Judge of the County Court at Law, in Austin County, Texas, to vacate the trial court's capias order dated July 25, 2024, entered in trial court number 2023L-8325.
On July 31, 2024, relator filed an amended motion for temporary stay of the July 25, 2024 capias order and proceedings below in trial court number 2023L-8325 pending a decision on the petition for writ of habeas corpus. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.8(b), 52.10.
It appears from the facts stated in the petition and motion that relator's request for relief requires further consideration and that relator will be prejudiced unless immediate temporary relief is granted in part. We therefore GRANT relator's motion in part and issue the following order:
We ORDER the July 25, 2024 capias order in trial court cause number 2023L-8325, STAYED until a final decision by this court on relator's petition for writ of habeas corpus, or until further order of this court.
We deny relator's requested relief to stay all underlying proceedings in trial court number 2023L-8325.
