In re State of Texas ex rel. David Escamilla, Travis County Attorney

ORIGINAL PROCEEDING FROM WILLIAMSON COUNTY

ORDER

PER CURIAM

After relator State of Texas ex rel. David Escamilla, Travis County Attorney, filed a petition for writ of mandamus, this Court granted relator's emergency motions and temporarily stayed all proceedings in the trial court on real party in interest's pending applications for writ of habeas corpus in trial court cause number 17-1228-C368 and cause number 17-1428-C425, and on "any and all other actions arising from the underlying contempt order that is the subject of the dispute, pending further order of this Court."

The parties have now filed an agreed motion for expedited limited exception to stay. We grant the motion and lift the stay for the limited purpose of allowing the parties "to file an 'Agreed Motion for Reformation of the Judge' before Judge Paul Davis, for Judge Davis to grant or deny said motion, and in the event said motion is granted, for Judge Davis to order the reformation of the Judgment."

It is so ordered December 1, 2017. Before Justices Puryear, Field, and Bourland
