IN THE INTEREST OF S.I.O., A MINOR CHILD

On Appeal from the 309th District Court Harris County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 2015-46284

MEMORANDUM OPINION

This is a restricted appeal from a judgment signed November 18, 2016. The clerk's record was filed June 5, 2017. The reporter's record was filed June 8, 2017. After 68 days of extension, the brief of appellant S.I.O., the father of the child at issue in this case, was due September 11, 2017. No brief was filed.

On September 21, 2017, the court ordered appellant to file a brief by October 11, 2017. We cautioned that if appellant failed to file a brief on or before October 11, 2017, we would dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(b). Appellant has not filed a brief. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed.

PER CURIAM Panel consists of Christopher, Donovan, and Jewell.
