The clerk's record in this appeal was filed September 8, 2023 and triggered the deadline for the filing of appellant's brief. The record, however, was incomplete, and a supplemental clerk's record was filed October 18, 2023. Based on the filing date of the supplemental record, the deadline for appellant's brief is November 17, 2023, not October 8, 2023. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.6(a).
Before the Court is appellant's November 7, 2023 motion to extend the time to file his brief. We GRANT the motion and ORDER the brief filed no later than December 7, 2023.
