IN RE SOUTHEAST TEXAS VETERINARY CLINICS, PLLC

Original Proceeding
172nd District Court of Jefferson County, Texas
Trial Cause No. E-205503

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Southeast Texas Veterinary Clinics, PLLC (Veterinary Clinics) filed a petition asking this Court to issue a writ of mandamus of the trial court's May 19, 2020 order denying Veterinary Clinics' amended motion for continuance. Subsequently, Veterinary Clinics moved to dismiss its petition, asserting in an unopposed motion that its petition should be dismissed because the trial court cancelled the trial setting that is the subject of the ruling it sought to challenge in this Court. Without reference to the merits, we dismiss Veterinary Clinics' petition for relief.

PETITION DISMISSED.

PER CURIAM Submitted July 15, 2020
Opinion Delivered July 16, 2020 Before McKeithen, C.J., Kreger and Horton, JJ.
