On November 22, 2024, Relator Kristina Schweyer, proceeding pro se, filed a document titled "Petition for Writ of Mandamus" in appellate cause number 01-24-00858-CR (the "Petition"). The front page of the Petition identifies criminal trial case number 21371130101A, corresponding to the present appellate proceeding, and four other trial cases, including three civil: (1) 2024-81672 in the 80th District Court, (2) 2014-66436 in the 309th District Court, and (3) 2023-82062 in the 334th District Court; and one additional criminal case: (4) 160288801010 in the County Criminal Court at Law No. 13. All matters are pending in Harris County, Texas.
Only trial case 21371130101A corresponds to appellate cause number 01-24-00858-CR. To the extent the Petition pertains to criminal trial case 21371130101A, this Court issued an order denying the Petition by separate order.
To the extent Relator seeks mandamus relief from trial cases other than 21371130101A, the Petition is procedurally deficient. Appellant may not challenge orders from separate trial court proceedings in a single mandamus proceeding. Each trial case must correspond to its own appellate case, requiring separate filings.
Relator's Petition filed under appellate case 01-24-00858-CR as it pertains to unrelated trial case numbers 2024-81672, 2014-66436, 2023-82062, and 160288801010, is thus improperly filed and hereby stricken.
