The Clerk is directed to file the petition for writ of habeas corpus, submitted to the court by petitioner in propria persona, nunc pro tunc to the date it was received, April 10, 2024. This petition for a writ of habeas corpus filed by a capital inmate is being filed in this court after October 25, 2017. Pursuant to Penal Code section 1509, subdivision (a), the petition is transferred to the Superior Court of California, County of Tulare.
In issuing this order, the court has not considered the applicability of Penal Code section 1509, subdivision (d) to this petition.
