IN RE RYDER INTEGRATED LOGISTICS, INC. and Arthur McDaniels, Relators
This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2023-CI-03928, styled Brandon Perez v. Ryder Integrated Logistics, Inc. and Arthur McDaniels, pending in the 166th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable John D. Gabriel Jr. presiding.
Sitting: Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice, Irene Rios, Justice Liza A. Rodriguez, Justice.
ORDER
PER CURIAM
On November 7, 2023, the relators filed a petition for a writ of mandamus. On November 8, 2023, the relators filed a motion for stay pending mandamus review. This court believes a serious question concerning the relief sought requires further consideration. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.8(b). Therefore, the respondent and the real party in interest may file a response to the mandamus petition no later than November 29, 2023. Any such response must conform to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52.4.
We GRANT the motion for stay pending mandamus review but only as to the discovery responsive to Requests for Production Nos. 63 and 64. Therefore, the portions of the trial court's October 25, 2023 amended order that require relators to supplement their discovery responses, remove their overruled objections, and produce to plaintiff all documents and things responsive to Requests for Production Nos. 63 and 64 are STAYED pending further order from this court. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.10(b). The remainder of the trial court's October 25, 2023 amended order is not stayed.
It is so ORDERED.
