ORDER

Relator Mary Ann Roser has filed a petition for writ of mandamus, asking this court to compel the Honorable Elaine Palmer of the 215th District Court in Harris County to vacate her January 12, 2016 order compelling Roser's deposition entered in trial court number 2014-66926, styled Dr. Joel Joselevitz v. Carol Roane, Individually, and Cox Media Group.

Pending in the trial court is Cox Media Group's motion to dismiss Dr. Joel Joselevitz's claims against Cox Media Group pursuant to the Texas Anti-SLAPP statute. See Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code Ann. § 27.003 (West 2015). Roser informed this court that Joselevitz has filed a motion to seek discovery related to Cox Media Group's motion to dismiss. See Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code Ann. § 27.006(b) (West 2015).

We ORDER Roser and Joselevitz to file an update with this court within ten days of the date of this order providing the status of the motion to seek discovery related to Cox Media Group's motion to dismiss and any other proceeding in the trial court that concerns the subject matter of this original proceeding.
