MEMORANDUM OPINION

Relator seeks mandamus relief to compel the district clerk to mail copies of his expunction order to the Texas Department of Public Safety. We do not have jurisdiction to issue a writ of mandamus against a district clerk unless it is necessary to enforce our own jurisdiction. See Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 22.221(a) (Vernon 2004); In re Washington, 7 S.W.3d 181, 182 (Tex.App.-Houston [1st Dist.] 1999, orig. proceeding). Accordingly, we DISMISS relator's petition for writ of mandamus for want of jurisdiction. See Tex. R. App. P. 52.8(a).
