IN RE DONALD JACK ROBERTSON, II

Original Mandamus Proceeding Before Morriss, C.J., Moseley and Burgess, JJ. ORDER

On June 21, 2017, Donald Jack Robertson, II, filed a petition for a writ of mandamus in which he also sought a stay of the trial court proceedings in trial court cause numbers 26643 and 24080, pending in the 6th Judicial District Court of Lamar County. In his petition, Robertson asked this Court to stay any and all underlying proceedings pending this Court's ruling on his petition for a writ of mandamus. We have interpreted this request as an emergency motion for a stay of all trial court proceedings. After fully considering Robertson's request, this Court is of the opinion that the trial court proceedings should not be stayed.

Robertson's request is, therefore, denied.

IT IS SO ORDERED.
