IN RE STACEY REED, Relator

Original Proceeding from the 366th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 366-51554-2013

MEMORANDUM OPINION

Before Justices Lang, Evans, and Stoddart
Opinion by Justice Evans

Before the Court is relator's March 28, 2017 petition for writ of mandamus in which relator complains of the temporary restraining orders and extensions of the temporary restraining orders issued by the trial court between January 25, 2017 and March 22, 2017. We requested responses from the real party in interest and respondent but no responses were filed. Respondent did, however, provide the Court with an April 5, 2017 order in which the trial court finds that the temporary restraining orders and extensions were invalid when entered and relieves relator from those orders and extensions. The order also denies real party in interest's fourth motion to extend temporary restraining order, orders the parties to follow the terms of the May 13, 2016 mediated settlement agreement, and orders relator to file a "Motion to Enforce the Mediated Settlement Agreement as soon as possible."

The April 5, 2017 order constitutes a vacatur of the prior temporary restraining orders and extensions. Accordingly, we deny relator's petition for writ of mandamus as moot.
