IN THE INTEREST OF R.A.S., a Child

From the 456th District Court, Guadalupe County, Texas Trial Court No. 18-0158-CV-B Honorable Heather H. Wright, Judge Presiding

ORDER

LIZA A. RODRIGUEZ, JUSTICE

On June 25, 2024, the court reporter responsible for preparing the reporter's record in this appeal filed a notification of late record, stating that appellant had failed to pay or make arrangements to pay the fee for preparing the reporter's record. On June 26, 2024, we ordered appellant to provide written proof that either the reporter's fee had been paid or that appellant is entitled to appeal without paying the reporter's fee. On July 12, 2024, appellant filed a response demonstrating that, on June 13, 2023, appellant filed a statement of inability to afford payment of court costs in the trial court. See Tex. R. Civ. P 145. The clerk's record indicates that appellant's statement of inability to afford payment of court costs was not challenged in the trial court. Accordingly, appellant's status in the trial court carries forward in the appellate court and appellant is entitled to appeal without paying the reporter's fee. See Tex. R. App. P. 20.1(b). We, therefore, ORDER the court reporter to file the reporter's record on or before August 19, 2024.
