Order to show cause issued; returnable in Court of Appeal, Fifth Appellate District
The Secretary of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is ordered to show cause before the Fifth District Court of Appeal, when the matter is placed on calendar, why petitioner is not entitled to the relief requested. (See People v. Clark (2016) 63 Cal.4th 522, 609-623; People v. Banks (2015) 61 Cal.4th 788.) The return is to be filed on or before July 28, 2017.
