IN RE: DEREK A. QUINATA, RELATOR

ORIGINAL PROCEEDING ON PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS MEMORANDUM OPINION

Relator, Derek A. Quinata, filed a petition for writ of mandamus against the Honorable Angie Juarez Barill, Judge of the 346th District Court of El Paso County, Texas, challenging a May 25, 2017 order of contempt. Respondent filed a response asserting that this original proceeding is moot because she vacated the contempt order on September 13, 2017. Respondent has provided the Court with a copy of the order vacating the contempt order. Finding that this original proceeding has become moot, we dismiss the case for lack of jurisdiction. See In re County of El Paso, 104 S.W.3d 741, 743 (Tex.App.--El Paso 2003, orig. proceeding). September 29, 2017
