On Appeal from the County Court at Law No. 2 Galveston County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. 17-FD-0061
MEMORANDUM OPINION
This is an appeal from a judgment signed March 16, 2017. The notice of appeal was filed April 11, 2017. To date, our records show that appellant has not paid the appellate filing fee. See Tex. R. App. P. 5 (requiring payment of fees in civil cases unless party is excused by statute or by appellate rules from paying costs). Tex. Gov't Code Ann. § 51.207 (West 2013).
On May 16, 2017, this court ordered appellant to pay the appellate filing fee on or before May 31, 2017, or the appeal would be dismissed. Appellant has not paid the appellate filing fee.
In addition, on May 18, 2017, notification was transmitted to all parties of the court's intention to dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution unless, within fifteen days, appellant paid or made arrangements to pay for the record and provided this court with proof of payment. See Tex. R. App. P. 37.3(b).
Appellant has not provided this court with proof of payment for the record.
Accordingly, the appeal is ordered dismissed.
PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Boyce, Donovan, and Jewell.
