Petitioner, by her prior attorneys, Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP (J. Richard Supple, Jr., of counsel), having moved this Court on November 4, 2019, for an order, pursuant to 22 NYCRR 602.1(m), granting her application for admission to the practice of law in the State of New York, notwithstanding the Committee on Character and Fitness' decision to deny the application,
And an unpublished order of this Court having been entered on January 22, 2020 (M-7831) holding the petitioner's motion in abeyance and remanding the matter to the Committee "to issue a statement of the grounds on which its recommended disapproval of petitioner's application was based, as required by 22 NYCRR 602.1(l),"
And petitioner, by her current attorneys, Clyde & Co. US LLP (J. Richard Supple, Jr., of counsel) having moved this Court on December 14, 2020, for an order, pursuant to 22 NYCRR 602.1(n), granting her application for admission to the practice of law in the State of New York, notwithstanding the Committee's failure to complete action on the application (M-2021-132) on the grounds, inter alia, that the Committee has failed to comply with the Court's order to provide a written statement explaining the basis for disapproval and has unreasonably delayed action on her application for admission, and petitioner was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in November 2018, where she currently practices law in good standing,
And the Committee, by Veronica Guerrero, Counsel, having submitted an affirmation stating that it takes no position on whether petitioner has met her burden of demonstrating to this Court's satisfaction that she should be entitled to admission to the New York State Bar,
And petitioner, by her attorney, J. Richard Supple, Jr., having submitted an affirmation in reply,
Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon, it is unanimously,
Ordered that petitioner's application for admission to practice as an attorney and counselor-at-law in the State of New York is granted. Entered: February 9, 2021
