IN RE Petition for DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST Alejandro Alfonso ESPINOSA, a Minnesota Attorney, Registration No. 0299832.
ORDER
The Director of the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility has filed a petition for disciplinary action against respondent Alejandro Alfonso Espinosa. The Director has also moved to temporarily suspend respondent under Rule 12(c)(1), Rules on Lawyers Professional Responsibility (RLPR). The Director has not found respondent in the state in order to serve him with the petition for disciplinary action, has been unable to personally serve respondent at his last known address in Arizona, and respondent has not returned an admission of service sent to him by United States mail.
Based upon all of the files, records and proceedings herein,
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that respondent is suspended from the practice of law. During the time that respondent is suspended pursuant to this order, the Director will continue to work with respondent and his family to obtain the necessary information to resolve this matter, which may include a stipulation for discipline or a stipulation to transfer respondent to disability inactive status. Within 1 year from the date of this order, respondent may also move this court for vacation of this order of suspension and for leave to answer the petition for disciplinary action. See Rule 12(c)(1), RLPR. If respondent fails to appear in this matter within 1 year of the date of the filing of this order, the allegations in the petition for disciplinary action may be deemed admitted.
