IN RE Neomi PASTRAN

Original Mandamus Proceeding

This proceeding arises out of Cause No. 2009-CI-18022, styled In the Matter of the Marriage of Paul Elijah Newton and Neomi Michelle Newton and In the Interest of Their Minor Children, pending in the 285th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas, the Honorable Peter A. Sakai presiding.

ORDER

Sitting: Karen Angelini, Justice

Rebeca C. Martinez, Justice

Patricia O. Alvarez, Justice

On September 6, 2013, relator Neomi Pastran filed a petition for writ of mandamus and an emergency motion for stay of the trial court's order pending a ruling on the mandamus petition. The court has considered the petition for writ of mandamus and is of the opinion that relator is not entitled to the relief sought. Accordingly, the petition for writ of mandamus and emergency motion for stay are DENIED. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(a). The court's opinion will issue at a later date.

It is so ORDERED on September 10, 2013.

Rebeca C. Martinez, Justice

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said court on this 10th day of September, 2013.
