MEMORANDUM OPINION
Relators, Parker Drilling Offshore USA, LLC and Parker Drilling Offshore Corp., LLC, have filed a petition for a writ of mandamus complaining of the trial judge's August 25, 2008 order denying their motion to transfer venue. On September 29, 2008, this Court granted relators' motion for temporary relief, ordering that all proceedings in the underlying case be stayed.
The Honorable Frank Carmona, visiting judge sitting for the Honorable C. G. Dibrell III, who is the presiding judge of the County Court at Law No. 2 of Galveston County, Texas. The underlying lawsuit is Michael Mire v. Parker Drilling Offshore USA, LLC and Parker Drilling Offshore Corp., LLC, No. 58581 in County Court at Law No. 2 of Galveston County, Texas. Relators have identified both Judge Carmona and Judge Dibrell as respondents, but Judge Carmona, who signed the complained-of order, is the only proper respondent. See In re Alsenz, 152 S.W.3d 617, 623 (Tex.App. 2004, orig. proceeding).
After due consideration, we deny the petition for a writ of mandamus, and we vacate our September 29, 2008 order staying proceedings in the underlying case.
