Petition for review granted; transferred to Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division Four, with directions to issue an order to show cause
The petition for review is granted. The matter is transferred to the Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division Four. That court is ordered to vacate its summary denial dated February 3, 2023, and is further ordered to issue an order to show cause, returnable before that court. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is to be ordered to show cause why the petitioner should not be granted a new bail review hearing on the basis that the superior court did not adequately set forth the reasons for its decision on the record (see In re Humphrey (2021) 11 Cal.5th 135, 155). (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 8.528(d).)
