Opinion issued July 19, 2011.

Original Proceeding from the 219th Judicial District Court Collin County, Texas, Trial Court Cause Nos. 219-82276-07, 219-82277-07, 219-82278-07, 219-82279-07, 219-82280-07, and 219-82705-07.

Before Justices MORRIS, FRANCIS, and MYERS.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

The Court has before it relator's petition for writ of mandamus. Relator complains that the trial court has not ruled on his motion for a free copy of the record in his criminal case, which he seeks in order to prepare a petition for habeas corpus. The facts and issues are well known to the parties, so we need not recount them herein. This Court does not have jurisdiction over relator's petition. See Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Ann. art. 11.07 (West Supp. 2010); In re Hampton, No. 05-07-00440-CV, 2007 WL 1168446, at *1 (Tex. App.-Dallas Apr. 20, 2007, orig. proceeding) (mem. op.). Accordingly, we DISMISS relator's petition for writ of mandamus for want of jurisdiction.
