From the 79th Judicial District Court, Jim Wells County, Texas
Trial Court No. 00-01-38161-CV
Honorable Patrick Michael Garcia, Judge Presiding

ORDER

All appellees' briefs were due April 18, 2016. Neither appellee, the Office of the Attorney General and Arcadio Pruneda, filed a brief or a motion for extension of time. However, we have been contacted by the Office of the Attorney General and advised it intends to file a brief and will be filing a motion for extension of time.

We ORDER appellee, Arcadio Pruneda, to file a brief and written response reasonably explaining his failure to timely file his brief in this court on or before May 30, 2016. If Mr. Pruneda fails to file a brief and a written response by the date ordered, we will order the case submitted without benefit of his brief.

We order the clerk of this court to serve a copy of this order on appellant, Arcadio Pruneda, and counsel for the Office of the Attorney General, John B. Worley.
