No. 04-13-00551-CV
2013-10-04
IN THE INTEREST OF N.F. et al Children.
From the 224th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2011-PA-02295
Honorable Charles E. Montemayor, Judge Presiding
ORDER
Appellant Oscar Mata appeals the trial court's order terminating his parental rights to A.M.F. and J.P. This appeal is ultra-accelerated. See TEX. R. JUD. ADMIN. 6.2(a) (requiring appellate courts to dispose of an appeal from a judgment terminating parental rights within 180 days after notice of appeal was filed).
Appellant has filed a motion requesting an order directing the court reporter to supplement the record with trial exhibits. On October 2, 2013, the court reporter filed a supplemental record containing the requested exhibits. Appellant's motion requesting an order directing the court reporter to supplement the record is DENIED AS MOOT.
Appellant has also filed a second motion for extension of time to file his brief. Appellant's brief was initially due on September 23, 2013. Appellant filed a first motion for extension of time which was granted. On the day appellant's brief was due, appellant filed a second motion for extension of time to file his brief, seeking another extension of time to file his brief. Appellant's second motion for extension of time to file his brief is GRANTED. Appellant's brief is due on or before Monday, October 14, 2013. However, because this appeal is ultra-accelerated, we warn appellant that no further extensions of time to file his brief will be granted.
