Case No. 3:12MC2
01-05-2012
FILED UNDER SEAL
ORDER
This matter having come before the court pursuant to an application under Title 18, United States Code, Section 2703(d) by Dean Eichelberger, an attorney for the Government, which application requests an order under Title 18, United States Code, Section 2703(d) directing Cellco Partnership DBA Verizon Wireless (hereinafter Verizon) to disclose Call Detail Records for (803) 730-8219 with Location Information from October 16, 2011 until December 22, 2011. The Court finds that the applicant has offered specific and articulable facts showing that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the records or other information sought are relevant and material to an ongoing criminal investigation, and
IT APPEARING that disclosure to any person of this investigation or the application and order entered in connection therewith would seriously jeopardize the investigation;
IT IS ORDERED pursuant to Title 18, United States Code, Section 2703(d) that Verizon will, forthwith, turn over to agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation the Call Detail Records for (803) 730-8219 with Location Information from October 16, 2011 until December 22, 2011.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the application and this order are sealed until otherwise ordered by the court; that the government may delay notice of this order to the subscriber or customer for a period not to exceed ninety days; and that Verizon is commanded not to notify any other person of the existence of this application and order for such period as the court deems appropriate, the court having determined that there is reason to believe that such notifications would seriously jeopardize the investigation.
