From the 57th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2014PA02012
Honorable Richard Garcia, Judge Presiding
ORDER
Appellee's brief was originally due on August 30, 2016. On September 2, 2016, appellee moved for an extension of time in which to file appellee's brief. In an order dated September 7, 2016, this court granted appellee's request, extending the deadline to September 19, 2016. On September 19, 2016, appellee requested a second extension of time in which to file its brief. In an order dated September 22, 2016, this court granted appellee's request, extending the deadline to October 10, 2016. On October 10, 2016, appellee filed a letter with this court indicating it waived the filing of a brief because the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services had been dismissed from the underlying suit. Appellee also stated in the letter it had been in contact with M.S.M.'s attorney ad litem, who intended to file a brief.
The clerk of this court has made two telephone inquiries of M.S.M.'s attorney ad litem regarding the filing of a brief, but has received no response. Therefore, this court ORDERS M.S.M.'s attorney ad litem to file the attorney ad litem's brief on or before October 31, 2016. If M.S.M.'s attorney ad litem fails to respond, this appeal will be set for submission without the attorney ad litem's brief.
