Summary of Misconduct:

Mr. Morris, who was licensed in 1993, was suspended for nine months. He engaged in sexual relationships with two female clients, one whom he represented in a postdecree matter and one whom he represented in his capacity as an assistant public defender. The suspension is effective on April 11, 2006.


Order of the Court:

The motion by the Administrator of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission to approve and confirm the report and recommendation of the Hearing Board is allowed, and respondent Wade Franklin Morris, Sr., is suspended from the practice of law for nine months.

Suspension effective April 11, 2006.

Respondent Wade Franklin Morris, Sr., shall reimburse the Disciplinary Fund for any Client Protection payments arising from his conduct prior to the termination of the period of suspension.
