Original Mandamus Proceeding

ORDER

Relator, Monsanto Company, has filed in this court an emergency motion for temporary relief in conjunction with an original mandamus proceeding. These matters relate to an order entered on June 9, 2017, by the 32nd District Court of Mitchell County in Cause No. 16643. In the order, the Honorable Judge Al Walvoord denied a motion to quash a subpoena for the production of documents and to issue a protective order. Pursuant to TEX. R. APP. P. 52.10(b), this court grants the motion for temporary relief and hereby orders that all actions and proceedings related to the June 9 order be temporarily stayed pending further order of this court or final disposition of this mandamus proceeding.

Furthermore, pursuant to TEX. R. APP. P. 52.4, this court requests that a response to Relator's petition for writ of mandamus be filed on or before July 13, 2017.
