In the MATTER OF Brian M. MIRANDA, An Attorney at Law (Attorney No. 142872015)


ORDER The Disciplinary Review Board having filed with the Court its decision in DRB 22-193, concluding that Brian M. Miranda, of Westfield, who was admitted to the bar of this State in 2015, should be reprimanded for violating RPC 1:15(a) (negligent misappropriation of client funds), and RPC 1:15(d) (failing to maintain financial records required by Rule 1:21-6);

And the Disciplinary Review Board having further determined that respondent should submit to the Office of Attorney Ethics (OAE) proof of two completed recordkeeping courses, approved by the OAE, within ninety days of this order;

And good cause appearing;

It is ORDERED that Brian M. Miranda, is hereby reprimanded; and it is further ORDERED that respondent submit to the OAE proof of two completed recordkeeping courses approved by the OAE within ninety days of this order; and it is further

ORDERED that the entire record of this matter be made a permanent part of respondent's file as an attorney at law of this State; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent reimburse the Disciplinary Oversight Committee for appropriate administrative costs and actual expenses incurred in the prosecution of this matter, as provided in Rule 1:20-17.
