IN THE INTEREST OF M.F.C., R.E.C., AND O.S.H.T., Children
From the 73rd Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas Trial Court No. 2023PA01178 Honorable Kimberly Burley, Judge Presiding
ORDER
PER CURIAM.
This is an accelerated appeal of the trial court's order terminating appellant's parental rights. The disposition of this appeal is governed by the standards set forth in Rule 6.2 of the Texas Rules of Judicial Administration. TEX. R. JUD. ADMIN. 6.2. Accordingly, this appeal is required to be brought to final disposition within 180 days of the date the notice of appeal was filed. Id.
Appellant's brief was originally due to be filed on September 9, 2024. On September 20, 2024, we abated this appeal to the trial court to conduct an abandonment hearing. We reinstated this appeal on October 10, 2024, and set a deadline of October 28, 2024, for appellant to file her brief. On October 28, 2024, appellant, through newly appointed counsel, filed a motion for extension of time to file the brief. The motion is GRANTED, and it is ORDERED that appellant's brief must be filed no later than November 18, 2024. Given the time constraints governing the disposition of this appeal, no further requests for extension of time will be allowed absent extraordinary circumstances.
It is so ORDERED.
