In the Matter of the Appointment of Members to the Youth Justice Oversight Committee
ORDER APPOINTING MEMBER TO YOUTH JUSTICE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE

The General Assembly has directed the Commission on Improving the Status of Children in Indiana to create a statewide juvenile justice oversight body ("Youth Justice Oversight Committee"). See Ind. Code §§ 2-5-36-9, -9.3. The enabling legislation authorized the Chief Justice of Indiana to designate the chair of the Youth Justice Oversight Committee and to "make the initial appointments and designations to the . . . oversight body." I.C. § 2-5-36-9(6).
Mary Kay Hudson, Executive Director of the Indiana Office of Court Services, left her position on April 5, 2024, resulting in a vacancy on the Youth Justice Oversight Committee. The Court thanks her for her service on the Youth Justice Oversight Committee.
To fill this vacancy, the Court now appoints Catheryne Pully, Executive Director of the Indiana Office of Court Services, to serve as a member of the Youth Justice Oversight Committee.
