MEMORANDUM OPINION

On January 17, 2006, relator filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this court. See TEX. GOV'T CODE ANN. § 22.221 (Vernon 2005); see also Tex.R.App.P. 52.

Relator failed to accompany his petition with the requisite filing fee. See TEX. R. APP. P. 5. The record before this court does not demonstrate relator's status as an indigent. See TEX. R. APP. P. 20.1.
